Shade
Shading
me from persecution,
My friend is but a veil of arms.
No questions and no convolutions
Penetrate her many charms.
The earth extends to
stroke the sky.
Unyielding strength which I embrace -
I am left to purify
The thoughts which led me to this place.
As clouds are forced to
disassemble
A breeze is caught in limbs soft-spoken.
Leaves are seen to shift and tremble.
Words flow true as light is broken.

trillion by 2012 and an even higher amount in its peak year of 2017. But this surplus has
been loaned to the General Fund of the federal government for other
uses, contributing even further to the national debt. (more) |
